NO power/wont shift at start up
NO power/wont shift at start up
I have a 2002 24v cummins w/ 84000 miles on it, On start up the truck runs and idles fine but when u hit the fuel peddle the motor wont rev up, shift it into gear and the truck lugs, it seems once it warms up the truck runs fine 95% of the time, sometimes it starts doing the same thing. I found if you fether the fuel it will pick back up. The diagnostic system bring up the following codes: P1693 (M) DTC Detected In Companion Module A fault has been generated in the companion engine control module.
P0215 Fuel Injection Control Circuit. Failure in fuel pump relay control circuit.
P0216 (M) Fuel Injection Pump Timming Failure High fuel supply restriction, low fuel pressure or possible wrong or incorrecty installed pump keyway.
P2030 Transfer Pump (Lift Pump) Curcuit Out Of Range Problem detected in fuel transfer pump circuits.
P0234 (M) Turbo Boost Limit Exceeded Problem detected in Torbocharger wasttegate.
P0380 (M) Intake Air Heater Relay #1 Control Circuit Problem detected in #1 air heater solenoid/relay circuit (not heater element)
P0382 (M) Intake Air Heater Relay #2 Control Circuit Problem detected in #2 air heater soilnode/relay curcuit (not heater element)
Also not sure if this is a realated problem but after the truck is warm and then shut down it seems to start extremely hard.
Anyone have some suggestions??
