No Lights!

Ok a while back I put up a post of having dim headlights and not knowing how to fix it. It was suggested to me to buy a wiring harness from LMC. Until recently it really hadn't been to big an issue and then the other day i got in my truck when to turn on the lights and nothing. If i flip the brights on I get one and the other is out. Parking lights work fine. So i just finished installing the LMC wiring harness and... no fix I still have the same problem. No headlights on low and One headlight on high.

Any suggestions?

I would guess the switch is going bad, or you have some serious issues with the wiring. The switches are notorious for failing and sometimes catching fire (although your LMC harness will cure that problem), but it may have been installed too late to save the switch?

Go in the fuse box under the hood and check all the fuses. There is one for the left and one for the right. You mentioned that the headlights were dim so I would look for a ground issue. Use a testlight and test for ground at the headlamp light socket. Sorry I don't know the termnals off hand

good luck,
Harold

Thanks for the advice guys, after checking the system over with a fine toothed comb, I found a loose ground and it solved the problem.
