No Bus In Odom Window
No Bus In Odom Window
I Was Coming In Yesterday And The Dash Went Slowly Dead And A "no Bus" Message Came Up In My Odom Window. I Was Told To Check All My Fuses And They All Look Good. Does Anyone Know Of This Or Have Any Ideas
Check the plug under the dash, just to the left of the clutch pedal (or where the clutch pedal would be if you're "shiftless"). That's the harness that feeds the dash cluster. Make sure you have a good connection there. Also, if you have an overhead computer, is it displaying properly or does it show "No Ccd"?
When this happened to mine, I could usually get it working by unplugging and reconnecting the harness. But eventually I had to have a whole new cluster installed. I was out of warranty and the process was a real PITA.

its a crumby connection behind the gauges or in a harness feeding them. my sisters jeep got it from having the top off year round for 2 years. i just hit the dash really good and unhooked and hooked all the connections and she was good to go.
