fixed prob

Prob solved blew a brake sw fuse which is a 20 so took the spare 15 which come out of num 30 fuse block which i found out is not spare as they claim on fuse box cover. It in fact runs abs module so if any one incounters this prob check it out.

This same thing has been happening to me for the past year have not been able to figure it out as mine is intermittent. The speedo comes on and off and the brake and abs lights do the same. I changed the vehicle speed sensor in the rear pumpkin already.

For what it's worth, jdrperformace's post helped me this morning. I too had blown a fuse and grabbed the spare 15a from slot '30' in the tipm. Then I noticed a day or two later, after driving the truck for the first time since the incident, the speedo/odo wasn't working.

I racked my brain, two different mechanic buddy's brains, and even replaced both the tranny and rear diff speed sensors. I never would have thought that "spare" meant anything other than "spare". Wrong! This is a Chrysler product folks. Plugged the appropriate fuse back in to slot '30', WHAMO!

Speedo/odo came back to life. Slot '30' is NOT A SPARE!

Thanks jrdperf.

my only issue is that its intermittent cant be a fuse. Where is the tranny speed sensor. hitting bumpsreal hard seems to jog it back to life sometimes.
