Need Transmission Help in North Carolina ASAP

My trans died for the second time in 24K miles and the dealer says DC voided my warranty because of the after market guages I have installed. I need someone that I can depend on to build me a good trans quickly hopefully around the Charlotte area. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Thats exactly what I said. The problem is no one knows how to lift the warranty restriction or who I have to talk to to get it done. The real kicker is Dodge put a brand new trans in it 4500 miles ago in June. The truck is exactly the same today as it was then. Plus on top of that I just found out DC has 16,000 torque converters on back order. I guess DC might know something we don't LOL.

Take them to small claims court. I always say this becuase it means they have to represent themselves without an attorney. You then can present your case, thats if it were to ever get that far. $5000.0 is the maximum so that should get you a built tranny. Find out who owns the Dodge dealership you purchased it from and maybe go after him/her.

I have an 2006 2500 4wd. That number came directly from the service manager.

It looks like the problem is with the torque converter. There was lots of metel dust in the trans pan. This is just my guess since there really was no warning to the failure. Usually if it were clutches the slipping would get progressively worse. This time I was trying to back my boat into my back yard and the trans stopped working all together.

So back to my original question is there anyone in NC that can build a good transmission.

Well I sent him a PM and he emailed me. I emailed him back the information he was looking for and have not heard from him since. This was late last week. I was kinda hoping to hear back from him since he is relatively close and comes recommended by a few people. Does any one have other contact info for him?

I would still push for a Warranty trans. If all you have is gauges, there is NO WAY THEY CAN VOID your warranty.

I would go after the regional manager, there has to be a phone number in the back of your owners manual somewhere.

I would get cranking on the issue, you might get lucky and get Mopar to pay for an upgraded tranny if you have to take them to small claims court.

Well I got final word from the Dodge Tech engineer that the combination of oversized tires 35's, intake, exhaust, a outlook monitor voids all of my factory warranty. It looks like I'm going aftermarket and will seek damages from dodge through the courts.
