Just finished install on 2005 Dodge with 5.9 with 4RE automatic. System airs up properly but during test drive the exhaust brake only works intermitedly. Also, when id does engage the trany fails to downshift even in Tow/Haul mode. It just slows to about 60 km/h then disengages. Now since its a 2005 auto the kit included a PacBrake control unit. Can anyone offer any insight.

 

I have installed several pac brakes but only on standards. But i would suggest getting a pm to Harold on here he works for pac and is very knowledgeable on them and if for some reason you cant get it this weekend call them on Monday and ask for TJ.Wish i could help more.
