Need help, maybe starter

My 97 has been over the last 2 weeks having a hard time starting like the batteries are dying, however last night had it checked out at the local parts store and my batteries and aternator they said were good, now wont start at all. Acting like not enough juice to turn the starter.

Could be the starter, many posts are here abut the contacts going south - these are a quick an inexpensive fix, do a search for "starter contacts" - this is assuming you've already checked all the connections?

New Starter

Mine was doing the same thing, turning over more slowly each time I went to start it.
Cleaned all the connections, changed one battery that was questionable and no change.
Took starter off and opened it up The brushes were so worn they were just barely touching the armature. Arcing everywhere. Got a new starter and I swear it spins over like a four cylinder now.
