510k on 1st gen 350. Intermitant smoking and power loss at freeway speeds when warm. Don't dare continue east w/o verifying if this is the old girl's last breath. Should I make funeral arrangements or will a patch/quick fix get me to the east coast. Engine rebuilt at 258k. Realize that I am on the cusp of another rebuild. Need professional opinion if this is a under $1.5k temp quick fix or do I give last rites to old blue and get a Penske or Ryder rental to get me home. Stranded but not stopped. Want knowledgeable shop/dealer in Des Moines area please
