need ATF help

ok, my truck is bone dry on atf, and barely made it home from work. my dad ran down the street to napa and bought me 4 qts of valvoline atf+4. as i was gonna put the second quart in, i saw it said fully synthetic. i have previously used coastal atf+4 in it, which is auto zone's cheap stuff but it does not say it is synthetic. mopar says to use mopar atf plus type 7176, which sees to be atf+3 which i read was replaced by atf+4. info on the truck, 96 12v 4x4, stock, 47re auto trans.
i obviously need to fix the leak (and i replaced the trans cooler lines earlier this year), but the immediate problem is i need to know what to use for trans fluid. any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as i need to get my truck moving so i can get to work

Any ATF+4 should be fine. Tell your dad next time he goes to NAPA get the NAPA brand and save a $1 a bottle. Both made by Valvoline. Good chance Coastal is made by Valvoline also.

As far as I know Valvoline also makes Mopars.

Youll be fine with the ATF+4 - Id be more concerned about possible damage from running low.
