Loss Tack, Rough Idle

Loss Tack, Rough Idle

Went to pick up my boat today fired up the truck went to hook it up to the trailer then it went bad!! The tack died, and the engine idles ROUGH!!! Ran by the O-ZONE used there scan to camshaft sensor. Went home dropped the boat know she runs fine. What gives should i replace the sensor or not. Also how hard is it to change and were is it located.

Had the same thing happen last fall, sort of. Crank position sensor failed. It's behind the lift pump as I recall. Definetly replace the sensor if this has happened.

Yeh the scan tool said it was the Cam Shaft Sensor
