loss of power/smoke

I uhhooked it yesterday and the amount of black smoke decreased but it is still smoking whenever i get into the throttle , not hard just easy.
the turbo gauge is not showing as much boost as it was before, WOT i can only get about 10 lbs and it drops to zero as soon as i get out of the throttle

i just thought of one other thing... Did you check your wastegate hose for any possible leaks of broken hose?

DUHHHHH--

took in in to Cummins today. I have an overload spring by ATS on my wastegate door that prevents the wastegate from opening as normal and actually allows me 28 lbs of boost as opposed to the normal 18 pds.
when i had the Jake exhaust brake installed last week they put this spring back on backwards so that the wastegate was being held in the open position.

Low Boost = Smoke.................
