Check your Boots

Check your intercooler boots. Probably the one on the Turbo. It has probably blown off.

Isn't 1693 the "companion" code? Can you get a DRB scan from someone? I'm thinking that you will find something else.

I'm a little confused. P0382 comes back to EGR in my book. I hope someone else gets some more info for you. I guess all I can say is good luck. Sorry.

P0382 Intake Air Heater Relay No. 2 Control Circuit

Grid heater relay.

Probably not related to your problem though.

Full list of codes for the Dodge Ram can be found here: ODB II Codes

First a P1693 code is:
P1693 - DTC Detected In ECM Or PCM
This basically means there is codes stored on your computer and you need a code scanner to retrieve them...

(i.e: before I got my comp box I had a 1693 & when I hooked the scanner up I got a overboost code set twice...)

Phox hit it right on the head for the other:
P0382 - Intake Air Heater Relay No. 2 Control Circuit
and like he said its probably not related at all...

This might work/help your problem out:
APPS Reset

This basically teaches your fly by wire throttle the throttle positions again..

One way you can check it is by disconnecting everything and see if your truck drives any better or if you get more codes. Just make sure you disconnect the batteries before disconnecting any of the sensors or you willget more codes that will cause your truck to go into limp mode and you will need a code scanner to clear them..

One of my friends ecm wewnt bad and he called edge to see if there unit may have caused it.. So he sent it to them they tested it, updated the software on it & checked the wiring harness for shorts & found nothing.. And shipped him back the unit at no charges to them..

I have read the Edge gives great customer service & thats why I went that way..

I would disconnect your box and see if drives any different or if you have any different codes... Then if theres no change try the apps, but if there is a change call edge & tell them w/ the box hooked up the truck is doggy..

I'm sure someone else will chime in to lead you onto some other ideas..
