Re:vibration on 93 D350
I think that the '93 2wd still had the two piece front hubs/rotors. On my '89, the bolts that held the rotors would cause a vibration. I never could get rid of the vibration, even though I had the hubs balanced, etc.
Also, the ball joints were very short-lived.

You might want to go back to your tire store and have them calibrate their balancer and rebalance your tires. I am fortunate and the tire store I deal with tolerates me watching and one time when i was buying six new tires after the third tire the guy running the balance machine had a habit of letting the rim drop on the shaft of the balancer and the manager saw it happen and cussed him out and told him to re-calibrate the machine and then re-balance my tire and man was I surprised the tires were way off, like 5 ounces. I'm sure this is not an isolated problem in tire stores across the country.

Also an alignment will somtimes fix mine when it vibrates it will start at around 65mph on mine and taper off at 75mph. I always align after new rubber. $39.95 for alignment is cheap compared to a new tire prematurely.<br>

Re:vibration on 93 D350
Generally mechanical problems are gonna show at through all speeds, I agree your problem is probably balance or wheel related. If they check and find one wheel that won't balance well, stick it on the back and see if it's more tolerable at least until you can replace it. I had them replace a couple Good Years because of vibrations at the same speed as yours, until we figured out the wheel was bad. $400 for a factory replacement or $500 for a set of aftermarket. Hmmmmmm. That was on a Z-71. Just my $.02
