Little Help Please - Knocked Out Back Window
Little Help Please - Knocked Out Back Window
This is not a huge emergency like some of the members here have experienced but I have a problem. I was hauling a hay round in the back of my 1999 Dodge 2500. I noticed when the guy loaded it he did not push it all the way forward like he usually does - but I thought I am only going a mile.
I live on a curvey gravel back road and about 1/4 mile from my house and I rounded a blind corner here comes a local guy flying up the center of the road. I hit the brakes a little harder than I should have
and the hay round apparently slide forward and tipped up. Should had him push it a little farther forward. Anyway, instead of hitting the front of the bed first the tipped up portion knocked the two center sliding panes of the back window out of the bottom track. They did not break or crack. When I got home I pulled the hay round down and unloaded it. When I tried to pop the slider panes back they hit the head liner by atleast .5 inch or a little better so I think there is more to it than just popping them back in. I did not force the issue. They don't seem to want to come out of the top track - there must be something up there which is holding them in place. Once again I did not force pulling them out of there. Thought I would seek help before I really break something.
Can someone give me instructions on how to put the two slider sections back into place. Thanks for the help - it is cold with the windows open.
