Or they contract in the cold, and expand with warmth, and seal the leak.

Okay here we go again.

This morning parked uphill in the driveway with about 1/8 tank of fuel I had the no start problem. As suggested I unplugged the LP and it cranked about 2-3 seconds and fired up. I let it run for a few seconds and shut it down. I hooked the LP back up and let it run for 10-15 seconds and tried to start it. It cranked slightly longer than without the LP, 4-5 seconds befroe it started. I checked for air in my loop before I started it, nothing, and nothing after starting. When it did start with the LP the seconded time, I got a big puff of white smoke then black.

No according to your suggestions, this means my VP is bad, the fuel timing sleinoid. Is that something that can be replaced without replacing the VP.

Still no codes. I'm afraid to take it to the dealer for fear they will keep it for 2 weeks and not find a problem.

I filled up, will see if tank level makes a difference. Started and ran fine the rest of the day.

The dealers have a test they can do on the vp44. I think they unplut the wires from the vp44 ant place a tester on it and try to start it. If it starts and runs then its the pump. Test takes bout 15 minutes

This morning with a full tank, no problems. This sounds to me like an air leak but I have seen absolutly no bubbles in my clear test line. Does the head on the VP make a difference if it is bad? If so why does it start without the LP?

Gauges should be in tomorrow.
