how much boost can it take
I take it you have a boost elbow or your waste gate bypassed. I would personally go with a boost elbow and stop at 30-35 anymore is a little too much for you head gasket in the long run. 45psi makes for quite a bit of cylinder pressure. with a stock turbo and air to air setup anything over 28-30 is just to much psi to cool to make any real usable power. Working at a truck shop that does a lot of cumins work, they will not let us mess with manifold psi. Insite, the cumins program will let us mess with governor, hp rating, high idle, ect. but not much manifold psi for that reason. sorry about the long reply but try a boost elbow at 30-35 and see what the power difference is, i doubt you will notice much.
