will the key method work on my truck to retrieve codes? when i do the key method i get a 1255 code i can't find anything about this one, that's why i was wandering if this method will work on my truck. if this is right does anybody know what this code means? thanks.

 

This method will work on your truck. The check engine light flashes the code. From what I can tell you are getting a code 12 which means that there has been a problem with the battery connection, you have had the batterys disconnected whithin the last fifty starts, and a code 55 which means completion of fault code display, which means the computer does not have any fault codes stored.
