47re with a DTT TC, BD Valvebody, BM shift kit, Amsoil fluid
Last worked on at 241,000 miles.
Problem: no lock up except with Torq-loc manual switch
Crusing a 70 mph at 1850 rpm is normal
today truck was runnning around 2150 rpm
I flipped on the Torq-loc switch and rpm dropped back into normal operating range.
Truck will not lock up in 3rd gear like normal unless switch is turned on.
Everthing else is normal - shifting, no slippage etc...
What do you think?

BBD, I'm just trying to think logically here, as I'm not any kind of transmission mechanic. If you had lost line pressure, or a solenoid, I wouldn't think that you could achieve any kind of lock-up. Because you can "manually" lock up the TC with the switch, I would think that the problem is either electrical, or electronic.

I dissconnected the TL switch and wiggled the brake switch and it worked like normal. I reconnected the TL switch and it still worked like normal. If it does it again I will have to go through the process of elimination . Everthing was fine until I stopped for coffee this mornin, but all seems to be good.
I dont have a load for in th emorning so she is going in for a check up anyway.
thanks alot guys
