hot rod vp44
Is there any way of telling if a used pump is a hot rod pump or not?I found one at a junk yard for $650.The guy said the truck this pump was on had a rough idle but ran good.thought it might be one

There are a few rebuilders performing this service.
Industrial Injection and Turbo Service (the one I chose) is one, BlueChip Diesel is another....there are others.
Usually around $600 more than a stock pump.
