O.k. ! Hadn't heard of any of those doing it but I've seen it happen on the dampner on the rear driveshaft. ( at the transmission or transfer case end )

None of the techs in St. Louis had heard of it either figures I would have to be the first.

Well ...... it HAS to be someone! LOL Nothing personal, but better you than me I always say! Seriously though, is it covered, or are you out of warranty? Good luck! I hope it didn't screw up your plans too much.

My truck has 125K on it so no warranty, going to cost 650 plus the 250 to tow my truck and 48ft trailer in. My injector last week was 1300 so hopefully the repairs will stop for awhile. Ive put over 5K in my truck in the last 6weeks getting a little pricey to drive.

I ve sort of got an idea, make some sort of list across the country of aftermarket credible shops so guys like us can get help when needed and spend our cash on upgraded parts to replace wore out ones instead of buying marked up stock stuff.

It's the front yoke on the rear drive shaft. The list price is $280. Anyone have one lieing around they want to let me borrow.

Is this thread screwed up or something. I don't see wardy's original reply until vzdude quote's him in post 14. Skynard replies to him in post 12,,,but I sure don't see his first post. Is the website screwed up, or is it my computer.

I deleted my original thread accidentally. That is why it skips around.

Didn't you say you had your trailer. Is it loaded.

I'm in GA right now, I won't be home until late tonight,,,if I make it that far,,,lol. I'm delivering car's on Sat and Sun, so I wouldn't be able to do anything until next week. I know that suck's,,,and I know the feeling you have right now broke down out on the road and basically screwed.

Maybe you can get someone to help before I can. Post something in the towing section. Call me on my cell. Calvin 618-779-3664
