Exclamation Help stuck in Raleigh, NC

Does anyone in the raleigh area know of a good powerstroke mechanic? We are vacation in my parents excursion and it died twice in town. I believe it's having fuel pump issues but it's hard to diagnose in a hotel parking lot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unhook both batteries for 5 min, and try it again if you haven't already. Computer needs reset. Most likely clogged EGR issues. Also.....this will sound stupid, but make sure it is all the way in park. My folks have had several issues with their 06 king ranch F250. Good luck.

It may be a bad cam sensor. ford had a recall on them a while back, engine would just shut off. after it cooled off it would start back up and run fine. if it is a 7.3 diesel. not hard to change, it is located just above and to the left side of the harmonic balancer, just one 10milimeter bolt and connetor
