1999 dodge 3500 dually 120 horse edge comp box 80 horse injectors dunrite triple lock with vavle body just installed injector pump and fuel pressure gauge if u tromp it taking off from a stop fuel pressure drops to 0 for a few seconds but not every time also have a flutter /hestitation around 55 to 65 every now and then when it dose that and you give gas it shifts down and takes off but it just dont seem to have the power it did have on take off the fuel pressure stays around ten driving down road normal when it flutters or hestitates the gauge dose not drop or or flutter neither dose the boost gauge i also put new fuel filter in it what else could i do to fix problem?
My buddy replaced my VP44 3 times (second one was defective), she was still acting up so then he put in a new Vulcan draw straw, new fuel lines, gauges and FASS fuel pump. He also changed the fuel filter about 3 times during all this. She is up and running very good now!!!
Is your fuel pump in the engine compartment? Mine was, and from what I was told the pump works alot better when it's mid-line on the frame. The fuel pumps that are located in the fuel tank I've heard aren't good either.
yes mine is in the enginge compartment i put a holy blue pusher pump on the frame ive burnt two of them up now im just running stock transfer pump
