My buddy replaced my VP44 3 times (second one was defective), she was still acting up so then he put in a new Vulcan draw straw, new fuel lines, gauges and FASS fuel pump. He also changed the fuel filter about 3 times during all this. She is up and running very good now!!!

Is your fuel pump in the engine compartment? Mine was, and from what I was told the pump works alot better when it's mid-line on the frame. The fuel pumps that are located in the fuel tank I've heard aren't good either.

If it was me, yes I would put the FASS pump on again. I just put the "normal" FASS pump on, I don't race her. I went to genosgarage.com they have all three FASS pumps I believe.
