I have been trying to get a friends truck started and it will not. He changed the lift pump and then messed with the DVs. After inspection he had a DV in upside down and ruined them. I had a set and put them in. I also, checked the solenoid which was junk and put another one on.

The truck now gets fuel to all of the injectors w/o any air in them. The truck will fire on ether but will not stay running. I have ran out of things to try. ps I have tried all of this with the truck plugged in.

Any ideas???

Is the Fuel shut off linkage lifting when key is turned to start position ?
If not then turn key to run position , lift linkage [ it should snap into the lifted position ] , then from the run position , turn to start , it should start now , if not you need to check the relay for the lift circuit on the heavy 70 amp relay .
