Heating Problem

Ok well first off. I have my adrenaline to do warm-up to 145. It cut off at that temp. I was going down the road about 8 mins after it hit that. Look at my coolant level it was ranging from 145-165. Never went to 178 or any thing close to the range it should be. But when i get home i turn the high idle on and it went to 188. Any Ideas.

I would replace t-stat. If engine is not warming up to temp most likely it is bad.

You can still run the truck if it does not get up to temp.. That is fine....

It also only takes about 10 - 20 minutes to change a thermostat.... 3 bolts off, new thermostat and gasket, 3 bolts on.......

Get a thermostat, don't need coolant, it takes all of 5 minutes to change.
Your temp differences might be from the cold air, try a piece of cardboard between the rad and inter cooler.

Boots i see you have stopped using your spell check again!
