Head Gasket Question
What are the chances of a re torque on the head to get the gasket to stop seeping a little? What is the correct torque? if anyone knows
Put a comp and boost elbow on three weeks ago and now the head gasket is wet on the pass side. Already removed boost elbow.
Thanks

Yes I can see just a slight residue coming down the block, What a shame the engine now has about 25000 miles on it.
I will find out what the correct torque is and check it this morning while it is cold.
Thanks,, Not what I wanted to hear.. ha ha
I guess I will sell the new comp. Didnt even get a chance to tap the pump..

Torque spec's are, 66#ft on all bolts in sequence, recheck torque, then # 4, 5, 12, 13, 20, & 21 to 89#ft, recheck torque, then mark the bolt heads and turn additional 90 deg. All torques must be in sequence, the boolts that get 89# are the long bolts. Hope this helps.
