Unhappy gremlin in my guage cluster

last week my check engine light would flash on and off rapidly insink with my tach droping 1000 rpm but no drivabilty problems at all. over the last few days the wait to start light and speedo have joined the party as well as oil presure and water temp fuel light and gauges, truck runs fine exept for my gauges all the grounds seem to be ok any ideas would be very helpful thank you

Can you fill out your sig. for us? That would help us better understand what might be happening. What year is truck? I hear a lot of folks having the same issues with '06 models.

sorry guys it is a 98 dodge cummins ext cab long box 4x4 5.9 mechanical inj but the new style interior

well i finally found the problem. actually my dealer did. turns out the main wiring harness was rubbing against the fuel rail between the block and firewall (not a big deal really) this even fixed my cruise control this must be a common problem as the dealer diagnosed it right away and repaired and secured the harness and only charged me an hour labor.

fuel rail in a '98??????????????
