Gfs-392 install Questions

So here I am sitting in the Hilton Parking lot, with a extremely weak lift pump. I have the 98.5-02 Gfs -392 performance from GDP. It is Sunday, So I figure Richard isn't at work atm. I Have most of the system setup, except for two area I am slightly confused on. I have the relay mounted, and am looking for the factory lift pump connector, to put it into the new matching connector of the relay harness, BUT i cant find it at all. I kinda need a picture, a idea, a clue lol .. I have not find any matching connectors.
The other question, it says to cut the fuel line and connect up to it, this does work right? hehe It just basically pulls fuel through the old lift pump? Just want a good feeling on it lol.

What was the OLD lift pump plugged into?
Mine fell down near the starter when I pull the old lift pump off.

One end should look like the female plug in this picture, but will still be connected into the stock wiring.

Well the old lift pump goes into the massive bundle and splits off and goes into another massive bundle both of which are near the starter, will go out and look some more, can show picts of what i Have, its only a 2 prong female connector, and there are a lot 2 prong connectors, but yet none of them remotely match. I'll bring picts in a bit to show what i mean.

What i have ..

The only 2 wire, 2 prong connector i can seem to find.

I disconnected the two wire connector and started the truck, the fuel gauge was still at 10 Psi, So I figured that wasn't the right connector. Maybe I am wrong i really don't know.

Some more pictures of the surrounding area.

ok, your third pic is the abs connector

your first pic has nothing to do with anything

and the connector down below that you have your hand on, is in the general area.

However, you need to possibly crawl underneath, and look up with a light. You should find the deutsch connector that the stock lift pump wiring plugged into. I say this, because you obviously had to unplug the stock LP to get it out of the way. Otherwise it would dangle there like the average "will-not".

The connector on Rich's harness is the right one, according to the pump kit I have here. So your best bet is to keep looking. Like Shovelhead mentioned earlier, most times, the harness end that you need, falls down near, or over the starter when you unplug it, then it becomes a fishing expedition until you find it.

The connector will be there, unless some mindless guru cut it off for some reason, so just stay calm, be brave and wait for the sign. It will show up. After that, plug in, fire up and off you go.

While you are at it, check the connectors in the relay holder, to make sure that they are properly crimped. I have had a couple of goofy ones in the past

Good Luck
