Oh, and dumb as this sounds, do you have the wiring hooked up to your new cam sensor, and to the rear of the injection pump. I know its obvious, but sometimes it kicks your butt anyway

Also make sure your batteries are up. Slow cranking will also give a no start.

THanks so much for your help guys. I went and switched my fuel system and horn relays. Guess what! My horn doesnt work now. But the stinky beast has come to life.

I think I just bought the most expesive relay ever. Anyone have a junk vp44 I can send back as a core?

Approximately how much do the cam sensor and crank sensors cost? Looks like I have a VP44 project to do and I wanna do it right. Does my 98.5 have both those sensors?
