Gauge Installation

I'm installing gauges pyro, boost. Was wondering if anyone knows which color wire to tap into for the lights on gauges. I have an 03 ram 2500. would also appreciate if you have any other ways to wire them in. Thx in advance

Re:Gauge Installation

If you tap your gauge lights into the wire that feeds the ashtray light they will dim with the dash gauges.

Re:Gauge Installation

I don't know the number for an '03 but on my '01 I tapped into the fuse box for the insturment panel lights. I think it was #5, but it clearly stated it on the cover.

Re:Gauge Installation

whichever one it is, tap it on the "cold side" of the fuse. That's the side that won't have power with the fuse out. That way you won't melt any wires if something happens to go wrong in the future.
