Fuel pressure woes - Help please

The GF has a 2001 with 162k. It is bone stock, probably always will be. I had been telling her she needs to get a FP gauge asap, but decided to check it at the test port in the mean time just to be safe. 5 psi at idle . It's parked till I can get a Lift pump on it. I am foreign to the 24v world so I'm looking for opinions on what to do for a LP. Holley seems to be a popular replacement for the stock pump? Does this require much modification from a stock setup? What kind of ball park price is she lookin at as compared to just putting on another stock lp? I will be doing the job, trying to figure out what i'm getting into. Open to ALL suggestions. Thanks.

Thats what I hear, considering the trucks stock I might be leaning towards just swapping out a stock one. Mainly because it will be a simple fix and with a FP gauge she shouldnt have to worry about it. Anybody know the cheapest place to find a stock pump?
