I used 4x4 off and on the other day and now the front axle will not disengage. It is coming out of 4x4 at the tranny and the light is turning off, but I can tell that the axle is still locked.
Any ideas?

 

Check to see if vacuum is getting to the vacuum motor on the axial , then check to see if it will hold a vacuum , by sucking on , if all that is OK , then you may want to take the shift cover off the axial , to see if its clean enough , to not bind up .
