Fass 150 fuel filter leaking

has any one ran in to this problem on the fass 150 fuel filter. The old fuel filter was really tight when I took it off today. I when to put the new one on and it was about as tight as I could put it on by hand. everything was ok in till I got home from my gfs house I smelled fuel and stuck my hand on the filter and it was wet so it was on for about 4 hrs by the time I felt it

I had the same thing happen with my 95. I removed filter wiped mounting surface dry and the top of filter then put some oil on my finger and wet the rubber ring down with oil. Then put filter back on and went as tight as I could. Also just make sure the old rubber ring didn't stay on the pump houseing.
