Angry Exhaust Manifold Gaskets

I discovered that my exhaust manifold is leaking on the #6 cylinder due to a backed out manifold bolt. Now the gasket is toast!

Where's the best place to buy exhaust manifold gaskets?

Scheid Diesel quoted me 40$ shipped to UT. No luck on Ebay. Any other ideas??

Should I use loctite on the bolts to prevent future back out problems?

Pretty rare that the exhaust bolts back out. I would just replace it and torque it to specs. If you have to replace the manifold down the road the locktite could be a problem, but that is a guess.

You might call ATS and ask them about replacement gaskets. They are $8 each. May be a good time to upgrade the manifold.

Bolts backing out on 24 valves are quite common. They put keepers on them for that reason. My back keeper came off, and the bolts backed out as well. You can get them at the dealer.
You can also look at the HTT Pulse Manifold: http://www.htturbo.com/em.htm.
It comes assembled, so you don't need to freeze parts and heat other parts to put it togther.

Cheapest place to get them is Cummins.

On edit: Oreilly Auto Parts has them for $6 per set. Not bad at all!
