Excessive EGTS 5 valves replaced...What do i do
Long story short, 2 bent push rods, pulled head and installed 5 valves. I am currious as to why only 5 and not 6. I though they would be damaged in pairs. Installed head and tested. Temps are around 1400 in under half throttle, no boxes on. Where do i start? I am concerned about the 5 valves and why they didnt replace the one with the 5th valve to make 6 valves. I need help please. Also, rail pressure fluctuates around 200-500 psi when i am driving. It sometimes is all over the place. What are your guys thoughts?
You have 12 exhaust valves- so I think they will have inspected them and replaced as necessary. With 2 bent pushrods you have 4 damaged valves.
To me your EGTs sound like either no boost or a slipped cam.
Why were your pushrods bent and the valves shot? Did you determine the cause?

they werent correctly seated in the tappets, which caused them to bend. But wouldnt if i bent one exhuast valve the other would be bent. Both in cylider 4 were bent and one in 5. why not both in 5?
