I doubt its your pump allready, the in tank ones seem to work pretty good.
what dealer are you going to? I have a friend from church that is a service maneger at the dealer in plano. And he has a really good diesel mech there. When my last pump went I went there and talked every thing thrue with him and he helped alot. seemed to know his stuff.
Like the other guys said keep cleaning her out and change that filter a couple more times. That should resolve the problam.

thanks guys, checked the fuel filter the other day, it was filthy...

changed it out and now the trucks running better.

 

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep a SPARE fuel filter in the truck.

We also keep some rubber gloves, and some hand wash in it too !!!!

You never know where you will be when you get some water in that fuel.
