ecm swap

does anyone know if a ecm from a 2002 ctd 4x4 auto will work in a 1999 ctd 4x4 auto?

It will not work correctly.

Do not plug it into your system.

You`ll let the smoke out.

It`s really hard to put it back, and very expensive too...

ecm swap

my truck has the common dead pedal syndrome.i have replaced the sensors and the lift pump.ip has 38k.removed the ip and had it tested at a pump shop,its ok.new apps does not register at the ecu at times.shutting of the key restores the truck to normal for 20 to 25 minutes
