Driver's side headlight

I am swapping out the old for newer, brighter ones but cannot figure out how to get to the drivers side one. I have loosened the fuse box but it won't come free either. Any ideas? The passanger side was easier...

I've found it easiest to remove the headlight assembly from the front of the truck and replace the light then. Only one screw for the parking/signal light and three bolts for the rest; all easy to get to.

What type of lights are you going to? Just curious. I like the Silverstars, much brighter than stock and you might look into the mod to keep the fog lights on with high beams; that also helps.

I did end up removing the headlight assembly to get to it. I ended up removing most of the bolts that hold in the inner fender to get to the back of the light to release the catch that is there. Hopefully next time I won't have to go that way and just pull those 3 bolts instead.

How does that mod work to keep the driving lights and brights on at the same time?

BTW...I also went with Silverstar. I haven't ever used them before but have heard good things about them.

Here's the link to the fog light mod.

Was an easy thing to do and helps light up the road!
