Doesn't mean your fuel isn't overheating...

Not trying to hijack his thread.....
But how would you define overheating?
I live in a very mild climate, and keep the tank over 1/2 full.
Short of installing an AC for the VP, not sure what else I could do.

Last post. If need be, we can start a new thread about this...

How do you know your fuel is cool vs. overheating?

What is your current fuel temp ? Less than 40*F over Ambient?
And yes, it does need cooled.

$1666 later, shes purring like a kitten again..

Revs quite a bit quicker and accellerates smoother.. exhaust is quiter.

This whole time ive accepted how it ran, when it was really probably running like crud for someone more experienced than I.

Now i just need to get this core back to reclaim my $400!

400 of that was core charge

I couldnt bring myself to an HR model after asking around for prices, a couple places stopped selling them due to returns.. so i started searching message boards.. and just seemed like they died waaay premature deaths.

Rather get a comp box and have the power at least be adjustable.. maybe go for a HR when the truck moves out of daily driver / needs to be reliable 6 days a week status.
