Dealer needs heLP!!!!!
Dealer needs heLP!!!!!
heres the deal for the past three months i have been dealing with my CEL light coming on and off, dealer is at wits end but we do have some good info, i think anyways, heres the deal my fuel pressue sensor voltage is telling the computer it wants anways between 70-90 volts, well normal voltage is 1.5-3.5 tops, we took a fuel pressure sensor off a BRAND new truck and the light still came on, meaning that the sensor is not bad, we also put on a new fuel control accuator to see if that had any issues with this, well that didnt change a thing.
My question is what would the cause be? any ideas at all?? here is what we are afraid of i did the bully dog try before you buy thing back in july, it wasnt in there more than maybe 6 hours, then after i did that i had them do the reflash for better fuel economy thing. If dealer calls star and reads these numbers etc, is star going to say, warrenty void because customer had a downloader in it?? or would the tri-b4 u buy thing totally have erased its self?? any help please???
