dead miss on 01 CTD

i am looking at an 01 cummins turbo diesel that has a "dead miss" out of just one cylinder according to the dealer. any help is greatly appreciated...thanks

check the codes , fuel presure and for fuel leaks on the high presure lines surely the dealer knows to do that

I'd be more concerned with removing the oil fill cap to see how much or if there is any excessive blow by. Next, with the engine running, listen into the air intake (just pop the air filter cover up). I've heard valve sealing issues create a "woof, woof" sound through the intake.
