i have this code (P2509) i dont have a code reader i found it by turning the key 3 times.

P2509 Ecm/pcm Power Input Signal Intermittent

I would check batteries, pos. battery connections and pos. leads going to PCM, also check negative battery connections and as many ground contacts as you can find.

intermittent would indicate it could also be the ECm/PCM connectors located at the firewall pass side usually. Disconnect batts and then disconnect plug in connectors and clean good with contact cleaner, plug in and out several times and then spray again, then blow dry good and re-connect everything. If issue is not resolved, check further on power connections as per above advice.
I had the same issue and know what the problem was so good luck. Sometimes it interferes with the trans going into O.D. as well.

 

haven't had an O.D problem yet but im going to work on it all after work today
