Question Clutch Hydraulics Quick Disconnect Connect????

I figured out the clutch safety switch, the clutch pedal clip and have everything put back together. What is the trick to get the quick disconnect on the hydraulic lines to connect?????

Thanks

Smile Got it

Got it together. I open the lid to the fluid res a little bit and was able to press the fittings together. It was hard to get enough force to join them standing on a stool a working under the brake master cylinder. Clutch feels good, engages close to the top with good pedal feel.

Thanks

I've read that what a lot of guys are doing is replacing the lines with hose clamp style lines to make maintince easyer, but if your like it to keep it the hard way I'll try to help , I haven't done a dodge yet but the fords and chevs have something that may be similar where in the colar there is a bunch of sheat metal fingers that point one way towords the upstream or in the oppasent diredtion that you want to go to pull it out , you'll need to buy or make a tool that [ boy I wish I could draw a picture ] raps around the hose to lift the fingers over a flange on the end of the hose you want to pull out , it help to explain how it goes together, with the 2 ends seperate you just push the smaller end into the larger end , being that the fingers point upstream they just spread apart and close back and catch on the flange on the end of the hose , so having something that makes a colar that goes over the hose and is bigger than the flange alows the fingers to expand to alow the hose to pull out . hope this helps.
