I'm 4000kms from home and yesterday half a day from destination my gauge cluster started acting up, all gauges were going all over the place, and the trouble lights were coming on and off. Got to Halifax NS and shut my truck off downtown, now won't start.
Cluster says no bus, cranks over but won't fire, fuel pump kicks on. Slept in the truck last night, waiting for tow truck to nearest dodge dealer.

 

The shop got me driving, the tow truck driver recommended a local shop that they work on cummins diesels so I got towed there. It looks like my there were seweral issues. My edge programmer was possibly adding to the problem as when we took it off, the truck fired up, but the light show on my dash still is happening. I got 1/3 of the way home and now am sitting in the parking lot of a dodge dealership in Ottawa. Last night the no bus message came on again and the dash gauges and warning light started acting up again. It was raining on the hwy for about 2 hours and things got better for about an hour, them it got bad again. I'm honking thisight be a damaged wire or loose connection under the hood somewhere. I'll have the dodge dealer look at it this morning. Has this happened to anybody??? Oh, and right at the end my wipers were acting up...

 

do you have any tools with you? a loose ground will cause this. if you have a 10mm handy, check the grounds that are bolted to the fenders.

 

That happened to me and I put a used ecm in and it fixed the problem.
