Changing brake pads on '05 Ram

I am trying to change the front brake pads on my '05 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4. I can not get the metal clips off. I hve changed many brake pads over the years but this has me stumped. Need help ASAP

One side fits down into the bracket (kind of like a mortise and tennon joint) and the other side should be able to pry out... now I do mean pry, I had to stick a pretty hefty screw driver in there to get it to budge but it will come.

If I remember correctly the drivers side the leading edge of the caliper is the side you pry up and on the passenger side it's the trailing edge. Once the Caliper is removed the pads themselves will slide right out.

Madhat did an install with pics. Search on here if you're still in a bind. IIRC push the caliper down towards the ground and then pry it out. try to colapse the caliper just a little to help.
