Catylatic Converter?

Anyone know where I can find a used (CHEAP!) converter? I have a magna flow aftermarket exhaust. I can't pass emmisions without a converter.

I'd even barrow one to pass emissions and then send it back. Any ideas?

Thanks

Check with your local muffler shop for takeoffs. If you can't find one where you're at let know and I'll check here. The UPS wouldn't be too much in state.

I called around town. Most said a new was $900 to $1000. About the takeoffs, I was told the government regulates them? Thanks

OK, man. I'll check tomorrow and see what I can find out but I will guarantee it won't be more than a C note (try for the minimum for you....might involve a 12er ) if I can find one.

I'd even come get it, and bring a case. (NAME YOUR POISON) Cause, I'd have one or two with ya.

Thanks.

If all else fails, try a 4X4 and off road shop. The more aggressive shops that do exhaust modifications generally have a "loaner" or two just for this purpose.

Your sig says its an 04. The 04 didn't have a cat, but the 04.5s did. Are you sure it came with one, or am I missing something.

You can get a 3" universal Catco cat for $60 from summit racing...

Might as well buy one and keep it around to put on and off as you want.

No shop will sell you a used cat, that is illegal.

Magnaflow sells a universal and direct fit CAT on their website. Not sure on prices for them. Universial is part #60011, and direct fit is part #60421 if you have the 04.5 and above.
