Can't really call it a miss, but...........

Time to put the thinking caps on
Recently I had the LP go Tango Uniform. Replaced it and everything was fine. Reference the autopsy thread in 24 valve engine and drivetrain.
NOW..................... another glitch.

Conditions:
Temp 55*- 90*
Engine temp - normal range
Engine speed - 1200 - 1500 rpm
Ground speed - 35 - 50 mph
Transmission - transition from TC lockup to OD
Throttle - light
During normal driving conditions, everything operates normally. However, during that fustrating time, under light throttle application, when the tranny just can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to be in 3rd TC lock (AKA 4th) or OD, the engine will stumble for just a bit more than an instant. When the throttle is in any other position, the engine is smooth as silk. It "feels" like a "dirty" spot on a potentiometer (for you electronics types).
I'm wondering if the APPS needs cleaning/adjustment/replacement? Wondering if there is a bit of wear in that one position since I drive in that rpm range during about half of my commute.
I've somewhat eliminated fuel supply issues because the engine is so smooth under all other throttle applications.
It just seems to happen at that one position of the go pedel.
Not sure if if it would apply but Saturday the overhead computer went nuts, along with the fuel level indicator. Everything "pegged". Did a manual reset on the overhead and everything "appears" to be back to normal. Fuel guage is still strange by indicating 3/4 full with 175 miles on the trip meter. That in itself isn't too bad since typically it's slow moving for the first half of travel and then sucks on down.
I'm gonna do some voltage and ground checks today. Will also look for "noise" riding on the DC. Also gonna check the APPS voltages.
Any ideas?

Shorty, any codes? Could be CKP, but then it would be doing what you describe in all gears. What about your sneakers? Bigger tires play hard on the stock transmission sometimes.

No codes. Checked with on-off method and scanner.
Tennis shoes are stock 265-75-16.
Fuel pressure is good, both pre and post filter. Gonna look at the quick coupling inlet line to see if there is an air leak. May do a snip snip and hose clamp it. Don't think it air tho.
