cant find the right wire on the pcm and i need to finish install soon
Im installing a valve body assistant from ATS and the instructions that came with it say to tap into the yellow wire with a brown stripe coming out of the 18th pin of the 50 pin rear connector on the pcm....well i have searched it over and over for the past 2 hours and I cant figure out which wire it is because first of all there is no wire in pin 18 and second of all there is no yellow wire with a brown stripe..could anyone please help? I have to get this done today because I need my truck to run errands before school starts tomorrow!
PLEASE...and thanx in advance
p.s. both ats and the dealer that sold me the valve body are closed..i already tried calling...

I am trying to remember the installation of the mystery switch. On the trans electrical connection pin #7 I BELIEVE is a yellow wire with a brown stripe. It is the wire one grounds to lock up the TC. I am guessing that wire goes to the PCM and it is the wire you are looking for. You can find pictures on the thread DIY mystery switch.
I am just guessing.

Service manual wiring section shows pin 18 of PCM C4 connector being the one I think you're looking for. It's a 38 pin connector, right rear of engine compartment. The wire looks to be yellow with blue though. I won't swear that this is the one you're seeking. It seems right to me but I'm not positive.
