Canadian Truck, USA Owners Update

YES THE WARANTY IS STILL GOOD. I just called Dodge to complain and told them that the truck I have was sold in Canada and then imported to the USA. I am an American who owns a Canadian Dodge Ram that the Injector Pump Went out in. I was told by the dealer NO WARRANTY. Bull****

If you read Dodge Warranty Bulletin D-03-01 it clearly states that the warranty applies and is good.

The dude at Dodge even called the dealer and ripped them a new *** while I was on the phone, I heard everything. Way Cool.

Does Ford, Chevy offer this? Heck No, Dodge takes care of it's customers. I was looking at a 4500.00 bill. IP, LP and sensors.

Here is the warranty info and link.

Originally I wanted to buy a Canadian truck but after I checked into the warranty in both the US and Mexico I decided against it. At the time I bought my truck I was told by the Canadian dealers that there was NO warranty for the Canadian Ram in the states and Mexico. However, trucks bought in the US had warranty in Canada and Mexico. Go figure. Are not all these trucks built in the same plant, Saltillo? And produced by the same company?

My truck is Canadian and I have had no problems with warranty. The dealer can make it easy or hard.

The problem is that alot of people were buying trucks in Canada and selling them in the U.S for big profit when the Canadian dollar was low, that is where this comes from.

I know when my boss bought his 2001 PSD he had to sign a paper stating he would not sell it in the US for atleast 1 year. The local Ford dealer had Indians from the reserve ordering 6 or 8 trucks at a time them shipping them over to the US and selling them for big profits.

When U.S citizens drive up to Canada they have warranty and visa versa.
