Broken Goerend Billet again.. need help asap

If anyone can get ahold of Dave, please have him call Dan 210-857-6845. I'm on my 3rd tranny.... long story... 1st one lost 3rd & OD.. had it replaced. The next left me stranded 200 miles away TWO weeks ago with a broken intermediate (billet), this one has been in the truck for only 4 days and now when you put it in drive, it locks the converter when I give it fuel and kills the truck. When I can get it going, it jumps in an out of gear and bogs down??? Need help asap.... my tranny with the broken intermediate is still in the crate in my garage!!!

This one has a 15 blade LC converter, the one that's broke in the crate has a 15 blade... can I switch out VB on these two and see if it fixes my problem????

I wouldnt see why you couldnt switch the VB. The only thing is there may be debris in the one with broken shaft. Check for codes first. Sounds like something electrical related to be doing that.

I switched VB...what a pain... all started with a broken allen head in the DD tranny pan...

I got her all buttoned back up, but I can't seem to get the gear indicator to read Park so I can start it...

Any hints? I took it off and manually shifted all the way back to park, then put the indicator switch back in, but it still reads it's in N, even though you can't roll it. I guess I'll try again tomorrow morning by taking the indicator switch back off, moving it manually to first gear, then putting the switch back in... maybe it's not contacting right??? I don't know....

I will be selling a New Goerend tranny REALLY CHEAP... I'M DONE.....

Any chance you changed the heat exchanger and trans cooler? Failures that close together and including the intermediate shaft sometimes indicates restriction/debris. Your "bog" on the latest trans might be the intermediate trying to weld itself to the OD piston retainer.
