Braking Problem

Ok i got a 2002 2500 Auto 4x4 Quad cab. I recently replaced the brake lines with braided steel lines. Also serviced the calipers, and replaced front rotors and pads. This past weekend i was playing around offroad, i was driving through a mud/water pit, no more than half a foot deep, had it in 4-hi was not romping on it just a steady pace, when i got to the end i pull up to stop, and the truck stoped, when i started to go the truck wouldnt move, i couldnt turn the wheels either. So we got out to check everything. everything looks fine, i put it in 2wd to reverse and i would get a few feet then just spin out, put it in 4-lo and ease foward then it would stop and just spin out. come to find out the brake pedal was depressed on its own. So i kick it forward. this lets me move a bit then it locks up. So basically called it a day and limped the truck home.

Now on the drive home, i had to keep one foot behind the pedal to keep it from locking, and then when i would stop the pedal would depress half way then catch and then depress a little more and catch. Finally got to the point where i couldnt depress the pedal with slight pressure. had to really stand on it, brakes where locking up though.

Only problem i have had that i havent gotten to fix yet was the driver side ABS sensor is out. Me and my buddy are pretty sure its in the Master Cylinder or the brake booster, (hydro boost) or a binding in the pedal (i cant feel any binding or see any) so are we on the right track? and if so how hard is it to replace the Master Cylinder/brake booster? Appriciate the thoughts, trying to get the truck back up and running by this weekend.

I had a problem last year with the brakes on all four wheels were dragging. Had a high peddle with no play.
Not enough to stop me but enough to get the rotors and rear drums hot.
Ended up being a bad master cylinder in my case. Easy to replace but will require a total brake bleed procedure.
I had many responses to check the slide pins on the calipers.
Here's my post and some pictures of what you don't want you M/C to look like:

Here's a post from another site that was very helpful to me:

Hope this helps you, Scott
